Saturn is now in Libra, and in the coming years Saturn will show you a vision of your best self. While Saturn is known to push and prod, what you achieve under the coming three years will stay with you forever. Saturn will stay in Libra until October 2012, with a brief exit to Virgo from April 7 to July 21. Three years with Saturn may sound like a long time, but actually we never feel ANY planet the whole time it tours a sign - mainly it happens when a planet comes within five degrees of your Sun or another planet. In other words, you feel Saturn's direct rays for far less time, usually about nine months.
If you were born in the beginning of Libra, say, from September 24 to 27, you will be first to feel this trend. Saturn comes by every 29 years, so this is a rare occurrence. Since this teacher planet will have to spend time with all the other signs, now that you have Saturn, Saturn will have to impart its wisdom in a way that will stay with you for nearly three decades.
You are fortunate in that Saturn in Libra is considered the finest place for Saturn to be - the ancient astrologers said Saturn in Libra is "exalted" in your sign, for Libra can express the most balanced sides of Saturn and avoid being overly harsh or cold. In Libra, Saturn is said to be warmer and less dry - all good news for you because you will absorb lessons more easily.
Under Saturn trends, you may decide to do something to stabilize your life in a big way. You may, for example, buy your first house, get married, have a baby, start a business, or write your first book. These are just examples, but you get the idea. What you choose to do will be new to you and not be easily undone, for the very reason you are doing it is to add a sturdy pillar to your life. You are beginning the next chapter of your life and your new challenge will seem a bit like a rite of passage.
Admittedly, the challenge you take on may seem a little daunting, but only at first because it is new and unfamiliar to you and there will be lots to learn. You will have experienced people around you, so you won't be pushed into the deep end of the pool - you can ask for help. You won't be forced to accept this challenge but will do so because the end rewards will be well worth the effort. You will gain stability, status, and maturity and in the process become your own person.
Saturn will make you work very hard toward your goal over a very long time, so you will need to be patient. Saturn knows that nothing of value in life comes without commitment, planning, and self-discipline. Saturn may be a tough guy, but the rewards you gain will stay with you forever and yield the kind of pride you've never known. He never rewards DURING his teaching course, but rather later.
One downside of Saturn in Libra is the need to bolster your health. A chronic problem could flair up, or you could have problems with bones or teeth, so you will need to be sure to get enough calcium. You may want to get a few tests from your doctor as you begin this period, and find out if taking vitamins would be advised. It will also be important to see your dentist more often - go for frequent cleanings. If you are always at the dentist, you will catch anything that might come up quickly (that's my theory anyway!)
If you are scared of going to the dentist, it probably means you haven't gone lately. New techniques will make you comfortable, so you will likely be surprised at how easily things go. If you are worried about the costs of seeing a dentist, go to a fine dental university in your area and you will cut costs in half. University professors will oversee the work done on you.
Speaking of money, you seem to be very focused on cash flow this month. The month will start out on November 2 with a full moon in Taurus in your solar eighth house of credit and financial obligations. The planets will all be pulling in different directions at the time, so you may find that sending out a check is a bit difficult. You seem to have to do it, but you may have to do a little fancy footwork to find the funds.
Your financials will get better later in the month, so don't give up or get depressed. You have several powerful aspects coming down the pike that you can take advantage of, so mark them on your calendar and be ready to use them to your full advantage.
Your first opportunity will come November 11, when Mercury and Uranus will work together, allowing you to come up with a bundle of fresh ideas for a creative or literary project, or to make more money. Mercury is now in your second house of earned income and will send a beam to Uranus in your house of work projects. You may get a new client or side job or find a way to make overtime pay. Work and money will be nicely united on this day, November 11.
On November 13, a Friday, and the following day, Saturday, November 14, you will have an outstanding opportunity to find more work, perhaps to do on the side, perhaps over the weekend. Keep your cell phone powered up because the opportunity could come in weird and very sudden ways. It looks like you will be at the right place at the right time.
You will have a chance to improve your finances even more after the new moon, November 16. In fact, you may even hear of a raise or get an offer for a new job.
Uranus, the planet that brings lightning bolts of news, will be very friendly to that new moon, so expect the unexpected! Uranus is in your house of work projects, so it appears that your performance on a current project may put you on the short list of "employees we don't want to lose." If you're interviewing for a new job, you will go on the list of "candidates we need to compensate well to attract and keep." Either way, you could be sitting very pretty. I will admit that if you change jobs this month, you would likely move to a job on the same level, not one that brings more power or responsibility. There will be a major eclipse in your career status and honors sector next month on December 31. That eclipse may bring big news, so before you make any big decisions, you may want to wait to see what happens then.
Next month, Mercury will go retrograde on December 26 and stay out of phase until January 16. Be smart and get all your holiday shopping done by December 9, the date delays and problems will show up. Mercury enters into a mathematically significant period then, and you really can't shop for expensive things after that. If you do, you will likely buy things that will yield you or your recipient little to no satisfaction. Never buy electronic items anywhere near Mercury retrograde, so if you want to get a computer for yourself or a family member, do so now. It's never wise to make important decisions when Mercury is retrograde either, so bide your time.
You will need some diversion from all these financial meditations and actions, and Mars will see that you get plenty. You are fortunate in that the Red Planet will be make your social life vibrant, but I will admit, this month you may find that going out with friends could prove expensive. If you are determined to keep costs down - which seems certain - then when friends invite you to get together, before you go, have a look at the restaurant's menu online to estimate costs. If you are horrified at how expensive that place happens to be, you might suggest an alternative meeting place that can be just as enjoyable but that won't leave you poverty stricken.
Romantically, you are lucky that you have Jupiter, planet of good fortune, in your house of true love in 2009, a once-in-12-year-visit. If you are saying to yourself, "Yes, but this year has not been THAT great for me in the love department," I say this: Yes, that might be the case, but you have reason to be optimistic. Last month, on October 13, Jupiter resumed direct motion after months of being retrograde. This means you will have Jupiter working for you at double power through the reminder of the year. Make it a point to socialize more! Mars will help make that happen, and the coming holidays will bring more invitations for parties.
Venus will be in Libra during the first week of November, the time you should see about updating your appearance. You will want to look your best from now on, and Venus is standing by to help! This is true for both men and women Libras - no one will be left out.
My favorite days for you for love will be November 25 and 26. In the United States, the second day will be Thanksgiving, so this is really good news! Of course, if you aren't in the US, you STILL will have plenty of fun on these days. Attached or single, these are your number one days for romance.
On the first day, Wednesday, November 25, Venus, your ruler, will be in an exciting angle to Uranus - the electricity should be quite sizzling. On the second day, Thursday, November 26, Mercury and Mars will be divinely angled, making conversation sparkle.
Actually, Saturday, November 28, should be fun too, for Mercury and Jupiter will collaborate, and all the activities you do, from shopping to travel, or late night talks over coffee or drinks, should be just right.
Your very best romantic dates include November 4-5, 8-9, 11-13, 21-22, 25 (gold star), and 27-28.
Before I go, I would like you to know that you will have two massive eclipses soon, a full moon lunar eclipse next month in Cancer, December 31, and a new moon solar eclipse in Capricorn on January 15, 2010. Both will affect your home or other real estate, or bring news about your immediate family, most likely one or both of your parents.
The December 31 eclipse will also bring important news about your career. Depending on your exact birthday, you may already have received news in these areas. If not, you may want to make very small moves this month until the eclipses have spoken.
As said, Mercury will be retrograde during the eclipse period, so until you get a bit beyond January 15, the path ahead may be a little confusing. If you feel that way, sit tight, especially in regard to career matters. The cosmic dust that is being kicked up will clear very soon.
If you planned to move house (if you have not already done so under the previous eclipses that occurred already this year) you CAN do so while Mercury is retrograde if you (hopefully) sign all papers before December 26, or better yet, prior to December 9. (I prefer you sign as FAR away as possible from the date Mercury goes retrograde.) Before the moving men arrive, mark all your boxes clearly and never give the movers your tax documents or jewelry to move - give those to a friend or family member to hold for safekeeping until you are settled. If you ever have to sign papers with Mercury retrograde, plan for massive changes in your living situation up ahead, and just be flexible.
You have an exciting chart these days, dear Libra, and no doubt you will be making lots of announcements in the weeks ahead. You have good fortune Jupiter's powerful protection now, so you have every reason to be happy and very confident!
Summary
Saturn is now in Libra, and is directing his gaze on September-born Libra and those with early degrees of Libra rising. Although those Libras will feel the changes toward a more stable, secure life that Saturn is known to bring, all Libras will notice that life has taken on a serious tone. Saturn will get you ready to build a firm foundation for the future, and although it will require a bit of hard work and concentration, later you will be very proud of what you created in the period of late 2009 to late 2012.
By the end of Saturn's visit in 2012, you will have made your life your own, reflected in the long-term goals you committed to during Saturn's three-year visit to your sign. Your new endeavor will have many new elements to it that you'll have to learn and master, but there will be elders nearby to help you do just that. After this period is done, you will emerge stronger and more mature, and others will treat you with more respect. You will move into a new life phase, so this is all very exciting.
To balance Saturn's serious tone, Mars in Leo will keep life lively and interesting. Friends will not only provide a large measure of fun and warmth, but they will also be of enormous help in your new life phase by offering advice to navigate through the new territory before you. You may, for example, have a baby, buy a house, or write a book, and friends who have done this will help you. From now through early June 2010, new people will simply pour into your life - it will be quite exciting.
On another note, this month will also strongly emphasize your finances. On November 2, you may need to send a check to pay your credit card bill, but if so, it seems larger than usual. Or, on a grander scale, you may finalize a divorce settlement or be offered a golden parachute from your employer if the company is cutting back. Alternatively, you may negotiate a line of credit, a mortgage, or financial aid from your college. You will have help from Pluto, so it seems you will be able to overcome obstacles and meet your goal.
The new moon of November 16 (plus 2 weeks) will help you get a raise, new job, or side job to supplement your income. Saturn will be in good angle to the Sun, a good sign of long-range stability. Uranus will be helpful too, so there's a chance you will suddenly get a side job or a lucrative new client. Neptune will be in hard angle - an aspect known to cloud issues - so be sure to get the financial aspects of the deal spelled out in writing from the start to avoid any misunderstanding. If you are a creative person doing a special job, be sure you have a clear view of what the client needs you to do, as Neptune rules creative projects, too.
Romantically, you are still in an outstanding period, for you have Jupiter, the giver of gifts and luck, touring your house of true love, creativity, and children. Jupiter will stay until mid-January. You have time to meet "the one" if you have not already, and or to have a baby if you wish. If you have children, they are being protected by this mighty giant - you probably need not worry about the welfare of your children these days. They seem fine! If married, you can have magical, romantic interludes with the one you love. Your most sparkling day of the month will be November 25, when Venus will send a kiss to Uranus.

Money concerns could have you a bit tense at the full moon, November 2, plus or minus four days. Still, keep your cool, for opportunities to improve cash flow will come up later in the month.
November 11, 14, and 25 could prove to be unexpectedly positive for seeing an infusion of cash.
The new moon November 16 will also open a window of opportunity to either generate more business for you or help you get a raise. If you change jobs, you will likely get a new job on the same level, but it would likely pay you more. That's always good news!
Socially, you'll have an overabundance of invitations and things to do, so your only problem will be to pick and choose among the best. Not only will you have plenty of opportunities to meet up with old friends, you will also be able to make the acquaintance of new friends.

The setting of Susan's seminar will be the Three West Club in the Grand Salon, a beautiful space, and yet cozy, too. With traditional, antique furniture and glittering chandeliers overhead, at times you may feel as though you wandered into the White House.
The Club is located one block from Rockefeller Plaza and Saks Fifth Avenue and across the street from St. Patrick's Cathedral. It is a choice location, with many shops and restaurants nearby to sample at lunchtime or after the event. The end of January is cold in New York, so if you would rather stay inside for lunch, you can opt to have a 90-minute lunch with Susan and some of the other attendees on the Club premises. You must reserve your choices for lunch by January 20th so that the Club chef can prepare your meal for you.
