You've been working hard on a number of fronts. Your home and family, money, career, and day-to-day projects have all needed a great deal of your attention lately. You may not have had much room in your schedule for a social life, but now your romantic life will bloom open quite beautifully. From the start of July, you'll want to set aside a little time to get out of the house. There's a big world out there, and it looks like you are about to discover more of it!

Your lovely social trend will begin at the new moon, July 2, and will continue for several weeks. If you are single and hope to meet someone new, you will have one of your best opportunities of the year to have that fateful meeting. You should make an effort, for this month could turn out special.

Venus will conjoin this new moon, ensuring that the things you do and people you meet will bring you lots of joy. Jupiter will closely partner with that new moon too, so events should have a touch of luxury about them. This planet of luck and happiness - Jupiter - is now in your eleventh house of hopes and wishes, and this month will act like a kindly uncle who will do whatever he can to make you happy. With all the hard work you've been doing over past months, you need a bit of lightness in your life and you are about to get it.

Creativity is always high on Pisces' list, and whether you are paid for your ideas or have a hobby you enjoy to the fullest, this month if you devote time to your creative effort you will outdo yourself on just about every level. Take July seriously and hunker down on a project that's close to your heart. Your project deserves your undivided attention, especially in the start of the month, just after the new moon July 2. If you focus on generating ideas, you and everyone else will be stunned by what you turn out.

Here are your best days for artistic expression, for ideas will spout like wild flowers. The new moon, July 2 (plus one week), July 6, 14, and 22 will all be off the charts for you! These days are also special for romance, so they deserve double billing!

There will be one part of the month when you might feel exasperated with a partner. If you are in a close romantic or business relationship, there could be tension brewing that reaches full boil by Tuesday, July 10. Don't broach a difficult subject with a partner near this date - let things happen as they will naturally. Remember, there is no way I can tell you if the person who becomes a thorn in your side near July 10 is a romantic or business partner, but you probably have an idea about the identity of who it could be as you read this!

Here is what's happening in your chart to create this situation. Mars will move through Virgo from July 1 through August 16, lighting your seventh house. If your personal relationship is strong, you may have problems with a business partner, agent, publicist, or even a detractor or competitor.

What makes this a sticky aspect is that not only will Mars be in your seventh house, but Saturn is also moving through in Virgo in the same part of your chart. These two planets will meet in conjunction on July 10. Mars will always urge you to be action-oriented, assertive, courageous, and possibly impulsive. On the other hand, Saturn will urge you to be slow, cautious, practical, and realistic. As you see, these planets will be sending you mixed messages regarding one person close to you during early July, especially near July 10.

While this stop-and-go aspect can be hard to handle, on the bright side each planet will balance out the excesses of the other. Saturn will make sure you don't say too much or act too quickly. Mars will keep you on your toes and thinking quickly.

This day, July 10, will be a tough day for everyone in the zodiac. For Pisces, it would be especially tricky because Mars and Saturn together will oppose your Sun at that time. I feel badly telling you that, but perhaps knowing in advance will help. If you were born on or near February 23, you might want to brace for something to come up, as both planets will be moving at 5 degrees Virgo, opposing your February 23 Pisces Sun.

To deal with this aspect, even if your birthday is not near February 23, first protect your health and stay very upbeat. This could turn out to be a draining time, so get enough sleep and eat right.

Secondly, if faced with a person who is impossible to please, try to find middle ground. It appears your partner or adversary holds some winning cards, so you might as well be practical about the situation. Compromise will be your best and probably only option. Later, when Mars moves into more favorable position in early 2009, you will be able to exert much more control.

At the same time as July 10, you will miraculously have some help from Pluto, who will be orbiting in a nearby neighborhood in your chart, your tenth house. In astrology, we like tight aspects, and Pluto is a little bit distant but not out of range, so he can be helpful. I feel Pluto will protect your professional reputation, no matter what comes up - and that has to be a comforting thought. Pluto will also give you support from one very influential VIP if you need it. Good!

Admittedly, Pisces with February birthdays have been at wits end lately, for they not only had Saturn to contend with but also the fallout from the stressful eclipse that occurred on February 20, 2008. "When is all this going to end?" my Pisces friends have been asking over and over. Soon.

The good news is that Saturn is now moving at a rapid clip, and as soon as Saturn reaches 11 degrees on August 27, Saturn will finally be too far away to trouble February-born Pisces anymore. While it's possible that you have other planets in mid-to-late degrees of Pisces or Virgo that will remain sensitized to Saturn, for all practical purposes, the worst will be over.

Saturn will then turn its attention on those Pisces born March 1-14, but only until early August 2009. Wait! Before you stand on your desk and scream, "I knew it! I am next! Oh NO! Not me!" realize that the series of eclipses that fell in the Virgo-Pisces family are finally over and will not return for nine years. You'll not have the double whammy that the February Pisces have had lately. Those Pisces have really had a lot to handle. Be grateful for that, for it does make a difference. By October 29, 2009, Saturn will officially be out of Virgo and stay that way for several decades. By then ALL Pisces will be able to exhale.

Here is one parting thought before I turn my attention back to coming events for you in July.

While at times Saturn may hold your feet to the fire, this planet is an expert at helping you to manifest dreams. Saturn might demand much from each of us during his tour of duty but he always leaves us in better shape than when we first began. Saturn's motto is, "Nothing valuable in life ever comes free." His aim is to show you that you have more staying power, determination, and resourcefulness than you ever imagined possible.

Here's another thought to remind yourself: After a major Saturn transit is over, Saturn always leaves a gift by the door as thanks for dealing with his rigors. You will see your reward at some point in the last three months of 2009. Trust in this! The "gift" may be spiritual, emotional, or material, but when you get it, you will recognize it as what you wanted most.

Ok, now, back to July!

Happily, the coming month will strike all the right notes to keep you cheery, despite anything else going on in your life. Venus will be in Cancer, a good placement for you, lighting your fifth house of true love from July 1 to 12. Venus will help you jumpstart your love life or rekindle an established relationship, for Venus will be at your side at precisely the time you need her - the time of the new moon, July 2.

If you were born on or within five days of March 2, that new moon will put your name in lights! You have an excellent outlook, dear Pisces. While nothing will happen unless you make an effort, it appears that you are eager to do so. Even a small effort should pay off this month.

In the days that follow that new moon, you may want to put a big gold star on July 5 and 6. This will be the first weekend in July when Venus in Cancer and Uranus in Pisces will be beautifully angled, in position to bubble up fun when you least expect it! It would be a grand day to go to a party or other gathering, for you never know who you'd meet!

Another dazzler of a day should be July 14, when ANOTHER set of surprises should set your spirits soaring. The Sun in Cancer will send glittering beams to Uranus in Pisces in perfect alignment, so this should be a wow of a day in anyone's book. Pisces born on or near March 12 will be extra lucky, but all Pisces should have a happy story to share at the end of the day.

By Friday, July 18, you will come to the perfect-for-Pisces full moon in Capricorn, all set to light your eleventh house of friendship, casual acquaintances, events, and humanitarian efforts. All full moons are operative for four days on either side of this date, so keep that in mind. Again many smiling faces will surround you at this time, and they may be friends you know or people you are open to meet.

As you read this, I doubt you know precisely what you will be doing over this full moon, as Uranus is involved, so you may hear at the last minute and decide to go quite spontaneously! That's the right idea. Jupiter will be active again, so gee, this full moon is positive any way you look at it!

There are so many other delicious ways this full moon with help you. You may get involved with an important charity event, or participate in club event or panel discussion at this time, and have a lot to show for it. If you are working for a political candidate, you may stage a big event with great success.

Friends are very highlighted at mid-month, so near July 18, you may be the recipient of an extraordinary kindness of a friend.

There is one other possible manifestation of this full moon that may sound a little far fetched, but trust that this is possible, too. The ancient astrologers always wrote about the eleventh house being the one place in the chart where our dearest dreams are realized. The eleventh house, so lit up by the full moon on July 18, is called the house of hopes and wishes. Since you will have a full moon in his house, there will be some sort of culmination that pleases you very, very much!

If you were born on or within five days March 16 you will love the full moon on July 18. Not born near that date? Don't be concerned - this full moon has plenty of spark to share with every Pisces.

The unexpected thrills will just keep on coming this month, all the way to the end. I wouldn't blame you if you were skeptical, dear Pisces, but my goodness, you really have a stellar chart!

Put a ring around Tuesday, July 22, when all news should be good news. Mercury and Uranus will cook up a sparkling romantic brew and if you did meet someone, the two of you would generate quite a fast-paced, fun, and intelligent banter. This would be a night to remember, and you'd likely want to see this person again.

Your last-but-not-least wonder day for fun and love is July 26, a Saturday, when Mars and Jupiter will likely put you among friends once again. You may be invited to a wedding or other mixer, and if so, be sure to accept. Whenever Jupiter's involved, the benefits are always luxurious and substantial. You'll adore the food, flowers, music, and everything else about this day. The moon will be in Taurus, too - perfectly compatible and completely sensuous for you.

With the strong emphasis on relaxation, fun, and swooning romance, July would be a fine month for a vacation if you'd like to take one. Do so anytime in the first three weeks.

If you have read Astrology Zone before, you know I have not been THIS excited about your romantic and creative prospects in a very long time! Dear Pisces, July will be just made for you.

Romantically your best nights include: July 2-6, 11-12, 14, 18-20, 22, and 26.

As a Pisces, a life of creative expression is vital. Most Pisces have their various projects going on all the time - it's as necessary as oxygen to you! This month you'll be in rare form, for with the Sun, Venus, and new moon in your house of creativity, you'll be a crackerjack at serving up innovative concepts. Your creativity may take a new track now and you'll show a whole new side to your talents. Begin your new project at the start of the month, at the new moon July 2, and you'll get the gratifying applause later.

Also, on July 14, a light bulb will go off over your head and emit 100,000 watts of light. On July 22, brainstorming leads to more brilliant concepts.

If single, you will enter a superb time to meet new romantic interests, and you may even start an exciting new relationship. Your mood will be jovial and your lively sense of humor will draw others to you. If ever there were a month for finding new love, July is it!

Be out and about July 4-6 when you'll turn heads wherever you go. The weekend of July 12-13, including Monday, July 14, will be equally strong. Be curious and venture far outside your normal circle to enjoy fresh air and sunshine - a July vacation would be ideal.

There could be one cloud on the horizon, in regard to one partner you know from business or your personal life. Your partner's inflexible attitude may trouble you as the month opens. If this person is not a romantic partner, you may become concerned about a competitor or detractor at work who has become quite aggressive about moving in on your territory. As you see, near July 10 you may have your hands full.

You'll need to try out a few different approaches to handle these challenges before you hit on the right one. Don't give up. Mars and Saturn are now opposing your Sun, never an easy aspect. Thankfully, Mars will move out of Virgo on August 18, releasing tension. As you go through July, you may at first feel the situation has no solution, when in fact it does. By the second half of July, you will likely find it. Persistence pays off.

You'll need fun, and on the full moon on July 18, you'll have it in terms of a beautiful social event to look forward to, one that will bring you in touch with many friends. You may go to a wedding or reunion, or a fun convention or seminar - whatever you go to, you'll feel very much in your element.

Enjoy yourself to the fullest, for come August 1, a solar eclipse will focus you back on work. Big changes are due on that front very soon. Yet in July, thoughts of work seem very far away, as they should. Dive into that never, never land of love, dear Pisces.

Why am I mentioning The Virgins debut album? There's a very interesting story!

In June 2006, while my head of reader mail was on a two-week vacation, I had no one to read the daily incoming mail. We read every letter, and being that the Internet is like a continuous waterfall, it's important to keep up with daily correspondence. I was having difficulty finding temporary help with good communication skills. I needed someone who could write well, and also be someone who would really care about the readers' questions.

In desperation, I called Chrissie, my older daughter, for advice. She excitedly reported, "My friend Donald writes really well and could probably help you out for two weeks." "Who is Donald?" I asked, and Chrissie explained Donald Cummings was a good friend and a musician who could always use a bit of extra cash. Chrissie convinced me that he had the compassion and the fine skills I sought, so I said, Ok. I would be happy to give Donald a try.

Donald came by and I found him shy and very kind. I was pleased with his excellent communication skills as well as his tender attitude toward readers.

When the two weeks were over, I was sorry to see Donald go. "What is your passion, Donald?" "Music," he answered. "OK," I responded-"let's look at your horoscope. Would you like that?" His answer was an enthusiastic yes. Fortunately he knew his exact time of birth. He was born November 17, 1981 at 6:06 AM EST in New York City.

A double Scorpio (Scorpio with Scorpio rising), Donald's chart showed enormous talent. I was amazed to see that he had natal Jupiter conjunct Pluto, a rare and truly fantastic signature of success. I told Donald, "You must keep writing and composing your music. You have a FANTASTIC chance of hitting it big, and your first breakthrough will occur in nine months."

Usually when I hear that someone hopes to make it in the music industry, I advise taking side jobs to earn money while the talent awaits their big break. I didn't do that in Donald's case. I felt his Scorpio intensity would keep him on the right track and that he would hit the jackpot very soon. After all, Mick Jagger has that Jupiter / Pluto connection at birth like Donald, as does Bill Gates, Warren Buffet, George Washington, Abe Lincoln. This is a special aspect that only happens every 13 years, and when it does, it has to be within a few degrees to be useful. Donald has that, and much more.

Sure enough, Donald Cummings and his band mates, Nick, Wade and Eric as The Virgins, signed a contract with Atlantic records nine months later. After signing, it took a while for their debut album to come out, of course, but it just did-early last month, on the new moon June 3.. As mentioned earlier, Rolling Stone loved it, giving it four stars!

As I write this report, the band has already completed one tour of the USA (more are planned) and are in Paris, on their way to London, and they are due to do some really exciting TV here in the United States. Truly, they are on their way to bigness, although their manager, Nick Stern, says, "Of course, they have much hard work ahead of them." The TV show Gossip Girl has used five songs already in a recent episode, and more Virgins tunes will be in the fall episodes of Gossip Girl being shot now. One huge company known for music in their ads has The Virgins on their short list they are considering for their TV ads.

The Virgin's debut album, "The Virgins," hit the top 50 on iTunes in its first two weeks.

Their best sellers are "Rich Girls," "A Private Affair," "Love is Colder than Death," and "Hey, Hey, Girl." I also love "Radio Christiane"-a song written for Chrissie, my daughter. Chrissie helped the group by finding their first-class manager.

Some of the songs on this album are explicit, but there are TWO versions of this album in the CD (listed on the Barnes & Noble website), and one version is clean. You can make the choice. Astrology Zone® is a "G" rated, family site, so I don't want to lead you astray. This album is for grown-ups, not children and iTunes will label the album as explicit too, as most songs are these days.

The night before he was to go on tour he called me-we had not spoken for a couple of years, as he had been busy writing-and he was very excited but also a bit nervous. "What do you think?" he asked. I laughed-"What do I think? I think this is the start of fulfilling all the talent that your chart has promised, dear Donald!"

Little Mom Celebrates her 89th Birthday

Little Mom, my mother, who I love with all my heart, and who taught me all the astrology I know, celebrated her 89th birthday last month on June 15. We had a small dinner party at my apartment in her honor, and she had so much fun. If you recall, last year she was deathly ill and spent four months in the intensive care unit of the hospital. No one was sure if she would recover. She did-look at how wonderful she looks!

This is a big thank you to you, dear readers, for sending prayers and get well cards to my mother last year, and for your continuing notes to see how she is doing. Your good wishes and prayers worked miracles. She not only recovered but is doing just GREAT! Thank you!
