When planets square off, as they will in early November, it simply means that conditions in one part of your life are reaching a point where you can't quite ignore them any longer.
The more I study astrology, the more I am convinced that the universe is on our side. Often we don't see the truth of this because we feel inconvenienced that have to deal with things we would rather not do at all. These planets add extra work to our schedule, so we get cranky. But the universe is quite insistent sometimes, as it will be at the full moon November 2. Pay attention to the news that comes up. All month - including the time around this full moon - you will see a powerful emphasis on medical, fitness, and nutrition as well as on your psychological well-being.
You will have time for checkups and procedures that you've pushed aside for lack of time, so get out your cell phone and make those calls to your doctor and dentist. Get your blood pressure and cholesterol checked and your teeth cleaned. Make sure you have the right prescription for your reading glasses. Schedule the colonoscopy, and if you are a woman, a mammogram. Doing all this will make you feel virtuous later, and you'll begin your birthday year feeling great.
If you want to recommit to a fitness plan, or are bored with the one that you have been following until now, you may decide to hire a trainer, join a new class, or buy some DVDs at the full moon November 2. That is when all sorts of health matters will come up for attention. You seem to be determined to develop a healthier lifestyle at this full moon, so go with that new emphasis.
At the same time, within four days of November 2, you will finish up a key work project at the office. There will be quite a team effort at this time, so you won't have to persuade anyone to get on deck - they'll be there. The pressure will be on to get it done, but you will, so don't torture yourself with worries that you will miss the deadline.
Keep yourself strong and keep using hand sanitizer. While you are at the doctor's you may want to ask about getting a flu shot. The reason you may want to arm yourself against the flu is that you have Mars lighting your house of long distance travel, so it appears you will be on the road and in and out of airports now and in months to come. Being in the enclosed space of an airplane, it is easier to catch a cold. With budget cuts everywhere, news reporters suggest carrying antiseptic wipes to clean your tray table, airplane armrests and buttons, hotel room light switches, remote controls, in-room telephone, door knobs, and other surfaces in an attempt to stay healthy.
You seem to be involved with an interesting deal that is percolating abroad, and because there may be just so much you can do from your computer, you may want to fly to certain people at a distance in person. Academia, publishing, and broadcasting are other areas of gain for you in coming months, so you may want to submit applications, exchange letters, and work on this project intensely now while you have a productive month. Hurry things along if you can.
Here is why. Mars will light these areas of your chart, but will soon go retrograde. Once you get to December 20, Mars will shut down in retrograde, and stay that way until March 10. It would not be wise to travel during that phase because very little will be accomplished. You will see a lilt to these types of topics - travel, international relations, publishing, broadcasting, and anything having to do with gaining a higher education or teaching at an institution - in February, but there will still be pieces of the puzzle that will need to fall into place. Those will show up in mid-March.
To add to the slowdown, Mercury, planet of communication and negotiation, will go retrograde too, from December 26 to January 16. While you may say to yourself, "Well, I have until December 26 in which to act on deals and shop for expensive things," in reality you don't. Mercury will enter into a mathematically significant phase on December 9 that will crank up the confusion, so you don't really have as much time as you may assume. This all means that December will move at the speed of a little turtle, so you will need to hurry along plans in November and not rely on December at all. I suggest you be completely finished with major plans, agreements, and purchases by December 9.
Your career has been very demanding ever since Saturn entered your tenth house of professional progress in September 2007. Happily, Saturn finally departed this part of your chart on October 29, so you should see an almost immediate up tick to career events. Saturn will be back to this part of your chart from April 7 to July 21, 2010, a period of only 14 weeks, and after that you will be done with your cosmic career test until 2036.
The past two years, as a result of Saturn's testing and tutoring, you've become more practical and gained some needed seasoning that will give you new luster. You will get rewards for dealing with the recent pressures, so be comforted in that knowledge - those goodies will come soon, possibly in late summer or early autumn next year. For now, you are feeling less pressure, so enjoy it.
The new moon of November 16 will occur in your twelfth house of the subconscious, a good time to see a therapist or coach if you feel you have something you need to get off your chest. It's also an ideal time to begin a disciplined approach to end a bad habit. This new moon will be in the fixed sign of Scorpio, and that's a sign that could bore through a brick wall with the strength of their determination. Use this energy to your advantage to get rid of that old habit, dear Sagittarius.
This new moon period, which will last two weeks after it appears November 16, will help you find time to rest and relax. Again, medical matters will come up for discussion, but this new moon will give you plenty of time to get checkups and procedures off your agenda.
Tuesday, November 24, would be perfect to use for any medical procedure, for Saturn will send the Sun a lovely beam. You may be able to get a complete cure, or at least long-term relief. I can't see everything in your chart, so I can't be entirely sure, but it sure looks like a good day to schedule medical or dental matters. (Yes, dental too - Saturn rules teeth and bones as well.) See how you feel, and of course, never do a procedure without doing your homework and if necessary, getting a second opinion.
Your home seems to have been an area of concern for a long time, possibly for years. The good news is that the long weekend of Friday, November 13, to Sunday, November 15, may bring a breakthrough to a home, real estate, or family question you've been trying to solve. If so, you'll have Uranus to thank, for this planet of unanticipated news will be in perfect sync with the Sun.
Another good day for home-related interests, including entertaining with flair and style, will be November 25, when Venus will work with Uranus to bubble up plenty of happy experiences. This will be the night before Thanksgiving in the USA. If you are cooking the turkey for your clan, invite family or friends over to help you ready the dishes you'll serve and to help you set the table. They'll have a riot of a time doing so together on that night, and that means less work for you.
The moon will be in Aries on Thanksgiving (November 26), a fellow fire sign like yours, so the day will go well. Mercury, the planet ruling your relationship with your closest partner, will be in lovely angle to Mars, so things should go really well on the holiday.
If you are not American and won't be celebrating Turkey Day, you will still have two marvelous days to enjoy.
Romantically, you'll do best this month once the Sun enters Sagittarius on November 22 and in the days that follow. You'll feel stronger and more vibrant, more willing to mix and mingle, for you will have accomplished a lot this month by then. If you have started exercising, you will also have more energy and that will show, too.
You will have Venus in Sagittarius next month, starting December 2, the same day when you will experience a full moon in your house of commitment and marriage. All full moons are operative for four days on either side of the date the moon arrives, so you may have quite a major romantic event as soon as November 28! Perhaps you will get engaged for your birthday, or if you are already married, you may hear some big, exciting news form a partner.
This month, your most romantic dates will include: November 8, 13, 14, 15, 17, 18, 21-23, and 27-28.
Summary
This would be an ideal month to either to start a fitness plan or if you have been working out, ratchet it up another notch within four days of the full moon, November 2. It may become clear to you that continuing on the same path won't allow you to maintain fitness, let alone allow you to build strength. Don't wait for January 1 to make a New Year's resolution about your fitness, for you won't have this glorious new moon's blast of energy. It would be a shame to let it fade. Harnesses it, for Pluto, the great transformer, will cooperate with this moon all the way!
Your timing will be perfect because at the same time - the first week of November - you'll be finishing a big project at the office. After working long hours to reach your deadline, you'll appreciate the stress relief that a good workout can bring. Sagittarius is known to be naturally athletic, and you almost always feel better after having been active. If you feel a cold coming on - quite possible at this full moon November 2 - then stop and rest first.
This month, you may hit on the right solution to solve that property or residential question on November 14. It's also the perfect day to shop for home items, to hire a designer or architect, to look at new apartments or houses, or to interview for a new roommate. A perfect day to entertain or to shop would be November 25.
You won't be home much in months to come, however, now that Mars will be streaking through your long distance travel sector until early June 2010. You must be quite excited about your upcoming trips because it looks like you will be going overseas, or at the very least will have a lot of interaction with people abroad on the telephone or email.
Alternatively you may be starting a university degree program now that will turn out to stimulate you so much that it will lead you down a whole new road. You will look back and say, "The period from October 2009 to May 2010 changed my life's direction, and it came through my studies or travels." The coming influence will be major!
At month's end, you may want to lighten up your schedule. You may notice that your batteries will need recharging, and it's a good time to meditate about what you would like to add in the coming year. Conversely, if there is anything - or anyone - you would not want to bring with you in the twelve months ahead, you need to find the courage to delete them at the new moon, November 16. Endings can be hard, but they are part of life, dear Sagittarius. Make a clearing so that the universe can add the new people and opportunities after your birthday.
This month would also be the ideal time to start to rid yourself of self-destructive habits and to substitute them with better habits that would strengthen you physically, mentally, and emotionally. You are getting ready for an exciting birthday year, and the ancient astrologers always felt that the month prior to your birthday was a critical one for these types of meditations. In November, your resolution will help you overcome any obstacle or challenge, no matter how large or small. Indeed, your powerful determination will become the cornerstone of your success now.
Dates to Note:
You seem to be focused on global issues and open to various international and cultural influences. You may travel abroad or you may communicate a great deal with individuals in other countries. A yen for going back for an advanced degree may also accompany this trend: all month.
A big project or assignment may be finished up: at the full moon, November 2, plus four days.
Protect your health and increase fitness near this same full moon, November 2. If you feel tired, get rest.
At the new moon in your twelfth house, November 16, plan to wind down activities for a few weeks while you meditate about what you'd like for your new year ahead. If you need a coach or therapist to help you sort out options and develop a plan of action to rid yourself of bad habits or a destructive relationship, seek one at that time.
If you are looking for a job, you may get news of an offer and settle things at some point in the week of November 1-6. The job would be on a level similar to the level you are on now, but that might be fine with you.
If you need to make changes in your home, you may find a stroke of luck on November 13-14, or on November 25. Those dates will also be good ones to entertain family or friends.
Don't sign any papers on November 30. Do so earlier or in December's first week (even better).
Travel over November 14-15 or 25-26, but not on November 30.
After December 16 you'll get a chance to unwind and slow down. Take the opportunity before your holiday schedule begins heating up again. Travel will increase your desire and possibilities for romance.

The setting of Susan's seminar will be the Three West Club in the Grand Salon, a beautiful space, and yet cozy, too. With traditional, antique furniture and glittering chandeliers overhead, at times you may feel as though you wandered into the White House.
The Club is located one block from Rockefeller Plaza and Saks Fifth Avenue and across the street from St. Patrick's Cathedral. It is a choice location, with many shops and restaurants nearby to sample at lunchtime or after the event. The end of January is cold in New York, so if you would rather stay inside for lunch, you can opt to have a 90-minute lunch with Susan and some of the other attendees on the Club premises. You must reserve your choices for lunch by January 20th so that the Club chef can prepare your meal for you.
The cost for the lunch will be an extra $45.00 including tax and tips.
