Taurus Horoscope for March 2010

February's upbeat influence was a breath of fresh air that will intensify in March. You will be able to let your hair down and get out more, and that will be welcome, too. Last month you may have seen a number of career victories. The work you have been putting in at the office is building nicely and will carry you forward in coming weeks without needing to push so hard. You will actually benefit from socializing more, so don't feel guilty about leaving the office to see friends, acquaintances, colleagues, and competitors face to face.

Indeed, in order to make the most of what's on tap this month you must be out and about. You will learn things that that will give you an advantage, and you will also leave a more indelible impression than you could ever do by email or even videoconference. Yet socializing isn't just for business, of course - the most delicious side of seeing friends is to simply have fun, and that too is on the agenda.

In March, large numbers of people will enter your life, and most will be people who are new to you. Keeping track of everyone and following up will be important, so don't lose those business cards that you will collect. You may want to write notes on them to keep this all straight. The old pals you see will also be part of your destiny, so welcome them, too, and think about what you'd like to do together.

Romantically, as you begin this month, you will still be thinking about the effects of the last full moon that appeared recently on February 28 in compatible fellow earth sign Virgo. Some sort of development in matters of the heart was coming to critical mass. Perhaps you met someone - if so, it was a great time to start a new relationship. At the same time as that full moon, Jupiter met with the Sun at the end of February, a truly enchanting time filled with hope and joy. If you did not meet anyone then, you may still do so in the first three days of March, as the full moon will continue to exert a very powerful flow. Your home, property, or family may have brought good news as a result of that pairing of the Sun and Jupiter, too. In all, it was a glorious time.

As said, the oomph of that full moon will be powerful for three or four days as you begin this month. In particular, March 3 will be filled with surprises for everyone of every sign because sweet Venus will be ice dancing with Uranus, the planet of unexpected developments. You may enjoy this day more than other signs of the zodiac, for as a Taurus, you are ruled by Venus. This means Venus is the little engine that runs your whole chart. See what happens on March 3 - it could prove to be interesting.

Another five-star day to watch will be March 7 - sensational news will reach you when Mercury and Jupiter meet on your behalf. These two giants of the solar system will meet in your eleventh house, the part of the chart ruling not only friendships but also hopes and dreams. This is the very place so many other planets will be meeting too, giving this house the very special role of engine for your whole chart. A dream you've long held close to your heart may be realized at this time.

At the very least, you may meet someone very compelling on March 7, someone you want to get to know better - and that person could even change your life. You may get a communique that simply has you dancing on the tables. Mercury rules not only your love and pleasure sector, but also earned income, so you may receive a check, too. This will be a magical day, but you may notice the affects of Mercury and Jupiter early as March 5.

Things will continue to become more exciting in regard to this part of your chart - you've not seen anything yet.

The new moon of March 15 will make the vibrations emanating from your eleventh house (friendship, hopes, and wishes) even more noticeable. It will be clear that you are valued by others, and that your friends have placed your interests in the forefront of their minds in ways that may even take your breath away. Friends and new acquaintances will play a huge part of your personal growth in weeks ahead.

Another part of this trend includes the strong possibility that you will work on a charity effort. The eleventh house, being a highly evolved place on the chart, also rules charity and humanitarian efforts. You may be doing something as part of a larger group or community, and feeling very proud of what you achieve.

On the same day as the new moon, March 15, Mercury will conjoin Uranus, and two days later, March 17, the Sun will conjoin Uranus. Mercury rules your love life, so you may have a few big surprises involving a new, electric meeting, or if you are attached, concerning a pregnancy. You seem happy about what happens, so be open to all the gifts the universe has to offer. You may want to give a party for Saint Patrick's Day, and if you do, it will be very lively!

March 15-21 will be an amazing week - no matter what you think will happen, it won't, but something else will. Fortunately all these planets will be in water signs, an element that blends so well with your earth sign Taurus. Water plus earth equals a profusion of flowers, so this month should be quite special.

If your birthday falls within four days of May 15, you will feel the benefits of this new moon even more dramatically.

Your most romantic dates include: March 3, 6, 7, 10, 13-15, 17 (party day or girls night out), 19, 20-21, and 27-28.

A home, property, or family situation may have been very hard to resolve since December 2009 or going back even months earlier, but you may be due for a breakthrough soon. There was a big possibility that you saw a major victory in the last few days of February, but if you didn't, stay optimistic. Here's why - on March 10, Mars, the high-energy, action planet, will stop retrograding and go direct in your home, property, and family sector.

As a result, you will have a superb chance of finding a solution to your home or property dilemmas or desires from March 10 to June 7. It would be an ideal time to push forward - look at new apartments, sell your house, fix up your kitchen, buy a new couch or mattress, or simply brighten things up with new linens, dinnerware, and accessories.

You have another period, beyond the coming March 10 to June 7 phase, when you will things start to click once again. That will come this summer, in the two weeks that follow the new moon, August 9. After that, you'll have no more opportunities in 2010, so keep that in mind.

Still, February brings a clear turn for the better in regard to home and family matters, and you would be wise to focus on your goals, large or small. You may be surprised to see how much easier it becomes to make the changes you had long hoped to do. No matter how disappointed you have been in the past with getting progress on these home, family, and property matters, give things another try. When you've got Mars behind you, it makes an enormous difference.

Once you get to the weekend of March 20-21, you will need to take it slower. This is not a weekend, for example, to clean out closets or paint the living room, nor the right weekend to run a race or do anything else that could be called strenuous. The Sun will oppose Saturn, always a time to think but not push. Your energy level may be lower than usual and you may want to do something fun. You may want to have lunch with friends, hear an inspiring lecture - perhaps at a bookstore - or to have a massage. Do something uplifting. See a movie Saturday night, see a ballet or play, or go to a rock concert. If you have small children, see if your neighbor, mother, or friend will babysit. Even a few hours of fun will rejuvenate you.

The month truly is enchanting, but within four days of March 29, the mundane parts of your life will exert their usual demands. You will have to leave your pink cloud to zoom back to get tasks done that need to be completed. Saturn, the planet that always wants you to work rather than play, will oppose the Sun and ride slightly close to the moon. You need to watch your health as you dive into your work, as you may overdo. Perhaps you should begin preparing for this hard-driving full moon by taking better care of yourself all month.

Summary

You are in a rare and special social phase now. Lunches in A-list restaurants, invitations to stylish parties, or hard-to-get tickets to a concert or charity benefit could be coming your way - what more can you ask? Everyone will be eager to include you in their plans and you may be giddy with all the activities that will fill your calendar. By month's end you'll have made a number of new acquaintances that will have a stimulating effect on you and are on the way to becoming your new friends.

One really exciting day will be March 3 when Venus, your ruler, will join Uranus, and social surprises of the best kind will abound.

If single, circle the weekend of March 6-7, when a rare conjunction of Jupiter and Mercury could bring you a fateful romantic meeting. Attached? Schedule something different to do, just for the two of you.

Life would seem ideal if only Saturn weren't so busy piling up a heavy workload at the office. With Saturn in your sixth house, budget cuts have led to fewer people in your department, so more work will fall to you. Changing jobs won't help, because when Saturn is in this house, you'd face a similar situation anywhere you worked. Use new technology and better organization to become more efficient, for your aim should be to do more in less time, and in an easier, lighter way.

Near March 20-21 Saturn will oppose the Sun, so be good to yourself. Clear your calendar in the days surrounding March 21 because Saturn opposed to the Sun is a heavy vibe that could run you down and leave you feeling overwhelmed. Clearly you'll need something light and fun to do to keep you feeling happy and motivated.

Besides, an important project will need to be done within four days of the full moon March 29, and you will need all your strength and concentration to complete it. Your social life will stay strong through almost all of 2010, so you won't miss out on anything that can't be rescheduled later.

At home, a certain situation involving property, a lease, roommate, fix-it plan, or plan to help a family member has weighed you down, but is now about to show heartening progress. No matter how hard you tried to settle things over the past three months, chances are that your plans snagged. Now, Mars will turn on full power beginning March 10 - get ready for an exciting home or property breakthrough. Plan to be done by the time Mars leaves Leo on June 7. Perfect! You will have everything set by the start of summer. If you don't complete things, you will get one last chance to do so in the two weeks that follow the new moon August 9.

Mars will turn direct: March 10. Watch home and family related matters move forward with vigor. Sell or buy a house, or fix it up. No more delays.

March 22 may bring a home-related matter to culmination, and you will be gratified to see this happen.

Friends are very surprising and lively: March 15.

The new moon on March 15 will usher in a much more active time for you socially in the second half of March. You'll be out and about, seeing friends for lunch, and attending openings, benefits, and cultural events. Being out will even help your career, so there's no reason to say home!

March 17 is the perfect day for a big party - thanks to the Sun conjunct Uranus. No party? Gather up a crowd of friends for dinner after work.

Do not sign any contracts or give any promises on March 18, with Mercury opposed to Saturn.

A day when you may feel overworked and overtired: March 20. Take the day off, or better yet, book a facial or lively cultural event to help you unwind.

Venus enters Taurus: March 31 - your time for love is coming, dear Taurus! Watch next month!
